What is a custom sneaker?

If you’re new to the "Shoe Game" don’t think Customs means FAKES. You can do a custom job to any shoe you own by yourself or you can get it done by a pro. A shoe can be considered a "Custom" even if it doesn’t have some fancy art work. It could be something as simple as changing the color of your laces and painting the Nike swoosh a different color. However, you have pro’s like Methamphibian, SBTG, and C2 to name a few that take customs to a different level. The pro customizers are in fact artist before anything else, and for them it’s like painting their art work on a shoe.

If you plan on doing a custom job to a shoe make sure the shoe is AUTHENTIC. We’ve seen so many custom jobs done to FAKE shoes it’s sad, to put all that work into a FAKE is a low blow to the "Shoe Game". If you’re about to purchase some customs don’t be so fascinated with the art work that you forget to check to see if the darn shoe is even REAL. You don’t have to worry about this when dealing with customizers in the "Shoe Game" because they know FAKES are a huge "NO NO". Overall customs separate your kicks from everyone else because you get a chance to add your own flavor making your shoes extremely exclusive. Here’s a picture of some customs done by C2 which were inspired by the Andre Agassi Nike Challenge, and this is what you call PROFESSIONAL!
