How to read the Nike tag inside the shoe?

Have you ever seen someone looking at the tag on the inside of the shoe for a long period of time? You probably said to yourself "it’s taking him/her along time to check the size", they were not just checking the size. You can tell a lot about a shoe by checking the tag. For example you can tell the style #, color code, what year the shoe was made, and where the shoe was made. The picture below is a Nike tag, and other brands tags may vary with the information provided on the tag.

Black: Where the shoe was made

Blue: The year of the shoe (made and released)

Brown: The size of the shoe

Green: Style # of the shoe, with these numbers you can find out the name of the shoe

Red: Color code, with these numbers you can find out what is the color of the shoe
